For their twelfth installment, Scatcity welcomes the duo
Colossio & Sobek. Label head Skatman also makes an appearance on
remix duty. A versatile EP that combines the influences of both
artists, low-tempo, tribal grooves, bi-zarre vocals, and deep
melodies are the core of this EP named "Fragmentado". The title
track kicks things off with a steady beat, glitchy vocals, and a
mysterious melody that carries the listener to a drop with a
stabby arp and a syncopated groove. The Skatman reconstruction
transforms the original track to a peak-time sharp synth-driven
track. "Vision Peligrosa" starts the B-side lowering the tempo
with a groovy and tribal beat top-ped with bizarre vocals that
hypnotize the dancers till the early hours. "Murmuros" closes the
EP with deep rumbling drums that roll along as foundations to
warming synths and echoing toplines.
