What does it mean to be alone? In our society people are connected, and yet
at the same time are not. We are close to nature, and yet we can no longer
feel it. The smell of the soil after rain. The sound of running water. The
amorphous shapes of the clouds. Why do we forget these things so quickly?

The flow of time has changed. The flow of time in nature is slow. We cannot
understand nature with a single instance's thought. But the flow of time in
our society is speeding up. With too much information, and too little time
to concentrate, with nature's time we can no longer keep up.

At the same time, with the speed of time in our society, we can no longer
understand nature. Always rushing, we only get a fleeting glimpse. But
humans are creatures born from nature. If we lose the ability to understand
nature, we'll also lose the ability to understand ourselves. And then, even
if our souls have been damaged, perhaps we won't even realise.

We are in need of spiritual healing. But for this, we are also in need of
time. Nature's time. The time of the moving clouds. The time of forests
growing. The time of mountains forming. Perhaps if one stops oneself and
focuses on the breath, focuses on the colour of the blue sky, focuses on
the sound of the waves, the flow of time may change a little. And then
spiritual healing will begin.
