Award winning international DJ, producer, Paul Hamilton marks 
his full debut at Bonzai Progressive with the fantastic Alpha 
Waves, alongside fellow debutant Celene. No stranger to us here, 
Paul has delivered no less than four quality remixes for us 
since the end of 2018. Considered a powerful force in electronic 
music, Paul has over 20 years' experience and has won several 
awards during this time. A plethora of releases across several 
labels, has seen his status soar, and countless residencies in 
top venues gained him a solid rep amongst his peers. He is the 
first Maltese, Dubai/Abu Dhabi based Progressiveartist to be 
hand-picked by Armin Van Buuren,Ruben De Ronde andDavid Lewis 
Productions to play the biggest indoorfestival in the world, A 
State Of Trance 850 Progressive Arena in Utrecht, The 
Netherlands. Chris Alex aka Celene was born in Serres, Greece. 
At an early age he realised music was his life's path. He 
learned to play the piano and after some years he started 
playing electronic music at local clubs. 2020 saw him release 
his first tracks with great reactions. He is an active, core 
member of the promoting and event hosting team called NoLove. 
His music is characterized by out-of-this-world atmospheres and 
dynamic grooves.

Alpha Waves delivers a pure, progressive groove. Punchy kick 
drums lead as rhythmic percussions stack up. Deep, bubbling 
basses lurk on the low end, creating a rolling groove which soon 
becomes infectious. Harsh stabs contrast with delicate notes, 
while on the break, an airy pad comes through, generating an 
atmosphere that mystifies the listener. A powerful progressive 
mover that will not disappoint.

Bellatrix sees Paul and Chris keep the focus on that pure 
progressive sound. A touch of retro seeps into the groove here, 
bringing a nostalgic vibe which is a delight to the ears. Tight 
beats and shuffling percussions do their work as gritty stabs 
mesmerize. Dreamy sequences and timely FX combine as melodic 
arps cascade. The break is simply sublime, the pads, the 
enchanting voices, the atmosphere, the perfect combination which 
culminates in a climax back to the main groove for the duration. 
Just stunning.
