Sound Avenue rounds out a strong winter season by showcasing new 
interpretations of 'Vanilla Noise' by Madloch, Subnode and Pedro 
Capelossi. Originally released in November of 2020 as part of 
the 'Turmeric Latte' EP, it found the trio combining their 
creative forces for an exquisite organic house journey. With 
detail, rhythm and musicality all at a premium, it proved to be 
the perfect selection to close out the two-track showcase. Now 
with the Spring season upon us, Sound Avenue invites Valdovinos 
and Rohrer and Stohler to re-imagine the track.

Making his label debut and providing the first interpretation of 
'Vanilla Noise' is Valdovinos. Since making his production debut 
just over five year ago, the Argentinean artist has found a home 
on All Day I Dream, Shanti Radio Moscow, Tale and Tone and 
TRYBESof. Also an accomplished DJ, Valdovinos has had the honour 
of opening for top international talents such as Gui Boratto, 
Giorgia Angiuli, Hermanez and Luciano. Now making his 
much-anticipated Sound Avenue debut, he provides a dreamy take 
on 'Vanilla Noise'. From deep yet robust beginnings, the piece 
moves fluidly through a storyboard of thumping beats, chunky 
bass and buoyant rhythms. Whimsical in nature, its fluttery 
melodic concepts captivate across the first act, before an 
interlude of distant voices and clustered chimes elevates 
emotion on wards into a spirited finale.

The release concludes with Rohrer and Stohler making their label 
debut and providing the second and final interpretation of 
'Vanilla Noise'. Although their discography is short, the Swiss 
duo have already found a home on Dream Culture and Nie Wieder 
Schlafen since making their debut in 2018. Now presenting their 
first production of 2021 the Baden residents deliver a rousing 
rendition of 'Vanilla Noise'. Exuding warmth, atmosphere and 
organic design, Rohrer and Stohler's unique style carries you on 
an evolving eight-minute journey. Drawing on the sensibilities 
from the original, the duo marries distinctive design elements 
and striking percussion with meditative rhythms and placid 
atmospheres. Vocal edits drift across the pulsating framework 
leading into the main break, where a tranquil calm resets the 
groove for a late night finale. An inspired interpretation from 
the Swiss duo, which rounds out a welcome remix edition for 
'Vanilla Noise' by Madloch, Subnode and Pedro Capelossi.
