The hugely successful studio partnership between Manu Riga and Phi

continues with yet another top quality release. Shadow In The Woods is

their latest effort on Bonzai Progressive and raises the bar once

again. Since their last full release, Voyage A Goa, they have churned

out a raft of top remixes for the likes of Jaydee, Matan Caspi, Jon

Voorn, Crocy and many more.

The title track, Shadow In The Woods, is a sublime, slow burning,

chunky groover. Hypnotic pulsing basses and darkly sinister sounds

combine to the backdrop of a tight, beautifully crafted drum and

percussion arrangement. Sharp Intellect follows, closing the release in

style thanks to its no-nonsense, straight up progressive groove.

Something of a signature sound for this duo, wholly captivating with

expert beats and percussions, a chugging bassline, striking melodies

and topped off with intriguing voices.
