Releasenotes:
Simon Fava makes his long-awaited Toolroom debut with a fresh take on the
iconic Latin anthem Magalenha bringing one of the world's most
recognisable carnival records straight back to the dancefloor. Simon Fava
has built a reputation for uncovering timeless records and reimagining
them for modern club culture. With standout releases on Spinnin' and Myth
Of NYX, he knows exactly how to respect a classic while giving it a fresh
underground edge. Revisiting the legendary Magalenha, originally made
famous by Sergio Mendes and featuring the unmistakable vocals of Carlinhos
Brown, Simon breathes new life into a track that has amassed over 200
million streams and remains a global Latin favourite that captures the
spirit of the Brazilian carnival.
