We welcome Edinburgh based producer Kadien to Bonzai Progressive with

the top-notch, Sunrise. Kadien's sound is a balance of rhythm and

melody, which is manifested from his passion for dance music. He

started to learn about music from a young age, and after attending

Diynamic Music Festival in Amsterdam in 2018, he began to look at

producing darker, more progressive sounds. Influences from the likes of

Solomun and Denis Horvat continue to inspire him as he enriches his own

style. A pleasure to have him here.

The release opens with the Original Mix, a powerful, multi-layered,

dark progressive mover. Deep basses and contrasting melodic pads with

cinematic qualities combine beautifully as squelchy sequences seek

attention. Narik returns to Bonzai on remix duties, fresh off the back

of his last effort here, Albafica. He continues to impress and this

remix is no exception. On the remix, he has honed in on that cinema

style sound with the pads, adding layers of arpeggios and airy voices.

The break reveals rich, wide pads before the groove returns, keeping us

captivated for the duration.
