Release Notes
SLC-6 Music presents the thirty-first edition of its SIX: Stage-X series,
continuing its search for distinctive electronic music and new talent from
around the world. Returning Sri Lankan artist Samuel (LK) opens the release
with 'Gravity Wells,' followed by Argentinian DJ and producer Agustin
Artola with 'Halifax.' Long-running progressive artist Yadek takes things
into darker territory with 'Dark Side of the Moon,' while veteran Madrid
producer and SLC-6 regular Ormus returns with 'Genkidama.' Longtime SLC-6
artist and Italian producer Headkube contributes 'Voyager,' adding another
chapter to a relationship with the label stretching back several years.
Closing the release is Santa Barbara-based producer Eric Goodenough with 'I
Am Conscious,' continuing a journey that began when he made his production
debut on SLC-6. With six artists spanning the globe far and near to SLC-6's
home base in Santa Barbara, SIX: Stage-31 continues the series' original
mission: discovering compelling music, introducing new voices, and giving
established members of the label family another platform for exploration.
