Kazko joins the ranks of Bonzai Progressive with his superb 
debut entitled, Fenix. Hailing from Sri Lanka, Kazko is an 
underground DJ and producer who became involved with electronic 
music in 2020. In early 2021 he took a liking to progressive 
house and Afro house, gaining great support on several releases. 
His mission is to make people smile and his journey continues, 
full of success. Great to have him on board and we hope to hear 
more from him in the future.

The release opens with the title track, Fenix which grabs a hold 
of you right from the off with nice, thick kick drums and crispy 
hats. Exotic percussions build alongside a plucky bassline as 
atmospheric pads fade up. The groove transforms into an epic 
soundscape with delicate arps, captivating melodies and a pure 
progressive vibe. Freak Out is up next, championing that pure 
proggy vibe with a tight construction. Solid beats and expertly 
crafted percussions set the rhythms loose as lush, chunky 
basslines dominate and drive the groove. Soft melodic phrases 
compliment arpeggiated notes that cascade through the groove to 
the backdrop of an intriguing, journey-led groove. Let It Go 
concludes the release, offering up another fine slice of 
powerful progressive vibes. Spine-tingling melodic notes 
contrast beautifully with deep, probing basses as a foundation 
of punchy beats and shuffling percussions keep the floors 
moving. An outstanding three tracker, each one a gem and not to 
be missed.
