Fresh from much admired releases on Sirsounds and Music For Dreams, 
Ibiza-based Italians Luca Averna and Ale Doretto bring their 
Residentes Balearicos project to Higher Love Recordings for the very 
first time. There two original tracks to choose from, each of which 
comes backed with an equally as inspired remix. 'DC110' is a drowsy, 
synth-heavy Balearic nu-disco number that bubbles along at a shade 
over 100 BPM, with plenty of nods towards the stuttering machine drums 
of proto-house and mid-to-late '80s European synth pop. James Bright 
delivers a dreamier and even more gorgeous rework, before the duo 
returns with 'Juno's Dream', a curiously swung slab of mid-tempo deep 
house colour. A slicker and more hypnotic deep tech-house take from 
Gold Suite completes a rock-solid package.
