............................

Creating another landmark moment with his Water / Rebellion EP
in July 2021, Juan Deminicis demonstrated his unrivalled
production talent. Already receiving impressive remix treatments
on Particles from Rafa'EL and Alto Astral, Proton Music now
releases its own remixes courtesy of Sri Lankan and Canadian
talents.

A favourite across the bars and nightclubs of his native Sri
Lanka, the award-winning Dimuth K moved from his island home
where he was voted Best DJ/Producer in 2017, to conquer a new
environment in Toronto. Fully ensconced in his new home, the
Canada-based artist has shone brightly with his work for the
likes of Mango Alley, Plattenbank and Solee's Parquet
Recordings. Moreover, the Minesweeper / Beams Aglow EP in March
2020 showcased Dimuth K's production talent for Proton Music
with two sparking original tracks.

Now returning, the Dimuth K remix of Water captures the rhythmic
essence of the original while transforming it via imaginative
use of the key melodic themes in Deminicis' original. New
arpeggiated sequences hypnotise across the mid-range while
percussive rolls and cymbals juxtapose against Mila Belini's
vocal textures. Building elegantly post-breakdown, the Dimuth K
remix blossoms into the second half with exacting production
know-how and technical craftsmanship.

Also operating out of Toronto, Beije have found themselves
climbing the ladder of underground dance music to become
increasingly high-profile figures. As such, the Canadian based
duo has seen their music signed to a raft of blue-chip imprints
since 2019 work for Manual Deep and Polyptych. Going on to see
their work featured on the likes of 3rd Avenue, Stellar Fountain
and Turkish tastemaker, Harabe, Beije have continued to find
themselves at the forefront of the organic house genre with
recent work for Caf De Anatolia.

A debut remix for Juan Pablo Torrez saw a Particles debut in
October 2020 as Beije now join the Proton Music roster with a
powerful interpretation of Water. Making imaginative use of Mila
Belini's ethereal vocals with additional layers of male vocals,
an array of free-flowing melodic layers gradually evolve,
entwined within each other with ease. Delay-infused keys and
cadenced synth phrases blossom in the breakdown as the second
half hits the heights again with a heavy beat and dynamic
rhythmic backdrop that provides the perfect vehicle for Beije's
extraordinary production work to shine.

With beautifully cool and flowing interpretations from Dimuth K
and Beije, Juan Deminicis' Water cascades in vibrant new
directions.
