The Mexican producer Fec joins the Urge To Dance family with his
Strange Times Part I EP. Fascinated by the concept of time and its
transformation through the prism of music, Fec delivers a versatile
and superbly danceable first part of a two-part EP.
The opening track, Time Anomaly, is founded in a rhythmic breakbeat
and introduces a dramatic synth evolution that hypnotises your ears
and numbs your senses. The bridge dives you deeper into the track's
core sound leaving your legs with the sole capability to dance.
Endless Misfortune is curated by a punchier bass line and tripped-out
keys that get you fired and stoked for more. As the track evolves, so
do the keys. An introduction of dynamic synths that fight each other
their way to dominate the track is followed by a surprise synth winner
which changes the vibe in the second half of the track resulting in a
delightful outrage on the dance floor.
The closing track, Infinite Sunshine, is a peak-time exploration of
