01. Imaginary Numbers (James Flower Re-Imagine) .. 06:15
[ ::.. RELEASE NOTES ..:: ]
............................
James Flower is the alter ego of Tiago Narciso, a Lisbon based
producer and dj. With a passion for electronic music and vibrant
melodic atmospheres, James set out to develop a personal and
insightful approach to songwriting, creating compelling tracks
in a mix between nostalgic and warm textured sounds. His
productions and performances are a mixture of contemporary house
& melodic techno with a unique touch of ambient music.
He chose to remix this track because he says:
Imaginary Numbers has one of the most beautiful melodies I've
ever heard. I was so obsessed to it that I had to give it a
twist.
With the original, from the get-go, there's a real sense of
surety that oozes from Imaginary Numbers as Moullinex & Xinobi
are essentially presenting us with - is their own
re-construction of - and daring riff on - those original, raw
Trance and Progressive House blueprints as they return to
working together, rounding off an incredible year for both of
them.
But when those familiar crystalline and emotionally charged
sonics present themselves here, they're not kitted out in the
loud and brash gear we're led to expect - but a sleek, minimal
new get-up that's a shade understated and quite refined... and
as leg-sweeping as this pairing may be - there's no repelling in
sight, in fact it's a case of the age-old - opposites attract.
The original track has close to 100k largely organic streams and
both artists have combined streams of over 30 million across all
platforms.
Original release pitch:

100 chart. With recent great DJ feedback from Black Madonna,
