     Riva Starr's label comes good with another fine split release. With a     
       focus on minimal house, Volume 2 has enough range and diversity to      
      keep even the most discerning DJ engaged. Sebastian Xottelo's "Trick     
      Trick" integrates creaking percussion and crackling electronic riffs     
      into its rolling rhythm. Chicago influences bubble to the surface on     
      Fabio Ferro's "I Have Some". Led by an insistent groove and peppered     
     with disco samples and organ stabs, it's redolent of classic DJ Sneak.    
     And for those who like minimal with dubbed out influences, the walking    
       bass and trippy vocals of Diego Cardarelli's "Organ Jordan" is the      
                          track of choice on this EP.
