             Mexico-based DJ and producer Andy Woldman makes a welcome return 
             to Bonzai Progressive alongside the talented Roman Smitarello 
             with the superb 'Scutum'. Andy continues to showcase his talent 
             and innovation in the electronic music realm. With a noteworthy 
             presence in the underground music scene, he has left his mark 
             with releases on esteemed labels like Perfecto Black and 
             Stripped Digital. His impressive career has seen him perform at 
             major events across his homeland, sharing the stage with 
             renowned artists such as Dr Motte, Paul Van Dyk, and Markus 
             Schulz, among others. His musical journey has not only garnered 
             him recognition but has also led to collaborations with top 
             artists. Roman is a dedicated DJ and producer who has released 
             music on esteemed international labels and shared the stage many 
             top jocks also. Currently situated in the vibrant musical scene 
             of Tulum, Mexico, his artistic mission revolves around the 
             transmission of various emotions through the power of music, 
             intricate grooves, and captivating melodies with a view to 
             create a meaningful connection with his audience. His affinity 
             for electronic music ignited in the early 2000s, evolving from a 
             casual interest to a fervent passion. Over the years, his 
             exploration of the electronic music genre led him to various 
             events, where he became immersed in the sounds of Progressive 
             House and inspired by pioneers such as Hernn Cattaneo, John 
             Digweed, Sasha, Nick Warren and others.

             The Original Mix kicks off the release, opening with chunky 
             beats and slicing hi hats alongside rhythmic percussions. Warm 
             basses caress the low-end as subtle yet potent melodic plucks 
             join forces with uplifting pads and, combined with emotive note 
             changes and distant voices, create a magical atmosphere that 
             will ignite any session. Award winning Croatian electronic dance 
             music pioneers Cortex Thrill, kick off their 2024 campaign with 
             a solid remix. Made up of Ivo T Montina and Robert Grizilo, they 
             stand as a pivotal influence in shaping the electronic music 
             scene since the early nineties. Over the years, their 
             distinctive style and sound have seamlessly evolved with the 
             times, maintaining a unique dynamism that effortlessly resonates 
             in contemporary progressive sets. On the remix here, the duo set 
             their stall out early on with a distinct analogue flavour thanks 
             to a thick, warm, chugging bassline. Tight beats keep the rhythm 
             flowing as rich plucked strings weave delicate melodies that are 
             enhanced with spacey synths to deliver that signature CT sound. 
             Full of energy and dynamism, the groove entices you to move, 
             making this an absolute must have.
