Nikko.Z's Dopamine White closes out a successful year by 
welcoming Neta to the label for his debut EP. Hailing from Sri 
Lanka, Ameer Abdeen aka Neta first appeared on the progressive 
music scene in 2017 following a career in the commercial music 
arena under his given name. 2020 has yielded the greatest 
success to date for Neta with releases on notable labels such as 
Stellar Fountain's Astrowave and Soundteller Records. Now 
continuing to build momentum, the Colombo resident debuts on 
Dopamine White with 'Life In Darkness'.

Comprised of two tracks it's the pure, progressive sounds of 
'Life In Darkness' which open the EP. Buoyant grooves, electric 
rhythms and an array of striking percussion unite across this 
nine minute journey. Spacey arps intertwine across the first 
act, as smooth chord changes flow through the foundation and 
segue into the break. Tense and exhilarating, the centrepiece 
builds drama as phasing noise blankets the rhythmic pulses, 
perfectly setting up an emotive finale.

'Good Days Are Coming' rounds the release out with a similar and 
equally powerful sonic profile. Once again it's a bed of 
muscular beats and rolling bass which anchor the piece, while an 
array of hazy harmonics and driving percussion take centre stage 
above. Geared for peak time play, it's vibrant rhythms and 
timely chord changes complement each other beautifully, before 
the main break melts down to a sonic sizzle and cues an arp 
driven conclusion. It caps off a great Dopamine White debut for 
Neta, who has showcased his career best work here.
