APDEXTRA014 is about Social Distancing; this is the title of the four 
track EP by the newcomer Babsy, the Turkish DJ & Producer based in 
Barcelona and founder of Gruv Collective, a group of producers and 
party promoters. He makes his debut on the Apparel Music EXTRA 
catalogue with a cohesive, groovy and solid EP and the AM's crew is 
glad to welcome him to the family. The record kicks off with AMY which 
is a classy and modern House tune with a catchy bass line that drives 
through the groove of the track. ANOTHER SESSION keeps the pace high 
with its dreamy chords, solid beat and the sexy contribution of a 
beautiful vocal sample by Charlotte Gainsbourg. RETRO ROMANTIC follows 
the musical trail set by the first two with a rich dose of smooth keys 
and an always solid rhythm section while the closing and title track 
SOCIAL DISTANCING brings bright harmonies never congealing into 
patterns and a dialogue between a trumpet and a piano to take us 
smoothly towards the end of the record.
