Releasenotes:
PCP (BE) aka Belgian artist Pieter Claeys returns to Bonzai Progressive
with the superb 'Pulse'. Following on from his last outing here with 'Need
To Know', Pieter brings his A-game once more, delivering a sublime
progressive slice for our listening pleasure. An oldskool jock considered
with legendary status, Pieter was busy in the 90's destroying the roof of
the famous Belgian dance music utopia, Balmoral while also holding a
long-term residency at The Temple (formerly Boccaccio). Over the last
several years, he's released a raft of tracks on various labels, including
on his own Rewritable Records and sub-label Vintage Deep. Always a great
having him here.

'Pulse' opens the release, introing with a chunky rolling bass and punchy
beats. Crispy hats and a cool one shot vocal add weight to the rhythms as
melodic synth plucks fade in. Swirling pads build the atmosphere as the
track descends into the break where mesmerizing sounds combine and take us
to the climax for the final act. A solid slice that will not disappoint.
'For You' concludes the release, taking on a darker and more surreal
groove for the late-night sessions. Solid kicks and shuffling hats lay the
foundation as a murky bassline weaves through the sound. Striking synths
fade up, delivering an intriguing narrative which is accompanied by a
raspy vocal. Wonderfully deep and rich, this one is not to be missed.
